This one is extra special. I had the sweetest honor of helping capture the proposal of one of my best friends, Idalis, and her (now fiancé!) Chris — and it truly could not have been more perfect.
Chris planned the most thoughtful surprise proposal on the beach in Galveston, Texas. The two of them love the beach, so it was the perfect setting for a moment they’ll never forget.
Since I couldn’t actually be there for the moment and celebrate with them, I had one of my talented photographer friends, Nikki, come along and shoot the proposal for me — and she absolutely crushed it! I got to edit the photos afterward, and it was so special getting to see the joy on their faces.
I’ve been lucky enough to photograph so many milestones for my sweet friends over the years, and this was one of those moments I’ll never forget.
And I have to mention… Idalis is a fellow Heidi Gibson girl — and let me tell you, her Heidi ring is STUNNING.
