Now Booking Texas Sessions for Late Summer & Fall!
After a year in Ohio, we’re packing up and heading back to Texas — and I can’t wait to be back behind the camera in Houston again soon!
Last summer, we moved to Mason, a suburb of Cincinnati, for a temporary work opportunity. My husband Korey, who’s a project manager, was running the construction of a brand new ground-up data center — and we jumped at the chance for an adventure. It ended up being such a sweet season for our little family. We made the best friends, explored a new part of the country, and truly loved our time in Ohio (I’ll especially miss the cooler weather 🥲).
While I took a pause from shooting full-time during our year there, I poured that creative energy into other areas of my business. I focused heavily on UGC content — working with some amazing lifestyle, home, and pet brands. I also grew Studio KP — my graphic design and marketing side of the business — helping fellow creatives and small businesses elevate their branding and visuals. It was such a refreshing season of growth and creativity.
Now, I’m so ready to bring all of that renewed energy back to KPP as we return to Houston.
We’re officially moving back this weekend, but I wanted to share this now to start getting my online presence shifted back to Texas (and to let you know — my books are about to reopen!). I’ll also be documenting the move and lots of upcoming home projects over on my TikTok, as we turn our new build into a home — so if you love a good DIY/home styling moment, follow along.
What’s New As I Reopen My Books:
📍 New Home Base
I’ll now be based in Cypress! Sessions here will no longer have a location fee.
🌊 Galveston County
Galveston sessions will have a higher travel fee, but you can book with a KPP associate in that area for a lower fee if preferred.
💍 Weddings Update
We’re no longer offering full wedding services — moving forward, I’ll be focusing on portraits, branding, lifestyle, and elopements only.

Our amazing associate team is still here and ready to serve you! If my calendar is full or I’m unavailable, you can still book with one of them for the same signature KPP experience. (And we might have an Austin-based team member coming soon — stay tuned!)

I truly loved our year in Ohio — and I’ll be sharing some of our favorite photos from our time there throughout this post. But I’m so excited for this next chapter, to be back in Texas, and to reconnect with so many of you in Houston this fall.
