Collaborating with Annie Brow Photography was an inspiring experience that allowed me to blend strategic design with heartfelt storytelling. Annie, a Texas-based photographer specializing in weddings, elopements, portraits, and boudoir sessions, wanted a brand identity and website that mirrored the authenticity and warmth of her work. From the colors and typography to the website functionality, every detail was crafted to reflect her artistic vision and create a seamless client experience.

Understanding Annie’s Vision
Annie launched her photography business in 2020, transitioning from sports photography and social media roles during college to a full-time career capturing life’s most intimate moments. Her approach is deeply personal; she works closely with clients to ensure they feel comfortable, resulting in candid and genuine images that reflect their true personalities. Annie’s style blends fun, prompt-driven candid shots with traditional, timeless photography, offering clients a mix of contemporary and classic imagery.
With this in mind, I set out to create a brand and website that felt as warm, personal, and timeless as Annie’s work.

Crafting the Brand Identity
Annie’s photography is full of natural textures, soft light, and organic moments, so I wanted her branding to reflect that same essence. I developed a color palette that embodied the emotion and warmth of her work:
- #f0ebe4 – A warm, earthy hue
- #ffffff – Crisp white for clarity and simplicity
- #1c1b1a – Deep charcoal for contrast and modern elegance
- #656044 – A muted olive, grounding the brand with a natural touch
The goal was to create a visual identity that felt inviting and professional while staying true to the candid, heartfelt nature of Annie’s photography.

Designing Annie’s Logo
One of the most exciting parts of this project was designing Annie’s logo. She wanted something simple yet refined—something that reflected both the artistic and approachable side of her work. I created a custom script-style wordmark that feels fluid, warm, and timeless. The typography strikes a balance between elegance and familiarity, making it adaptable for everything from website headers to print materials.

I also incorporated a subtle, minimalistic secondary mark—a clean and modern monogram that could be used for watermarks and branding collateral. The end result was a logo suite that is flexible, recognizable, and effortlessly stylish, just like Annie’s work.

Developing the Custom Website
With the branding in place, the next step was designing a website that showcased Annie’s incredible portfolio while creating an intuitive, seamless experience for her clients. Key elements of her website include:
- Responsive Design – Ensuring a flawless experience across all devices, from desktops to smartphones.
- User-Friendly Navigation – A streamlined menu that makes it easy for visitors to explore her services, view galleries, and contact her.
- Integrated Galleries – High-resolution image galleries that highlight Annie’s photography while keeping the design clean and elegant.
- Clear Call-to-Action Sections – Helping potential clients easily take the next step, whether it’s booking a session or inquiring about her services.
The goal was to create a space where Annie’s photography could truly shine while making the user journey effortless and engaging.

Bringing the Brand to Life: A Branding Shoot
To make sure Annie’s new branding and website felt cohesive, we also collaborated on a branding shoot. This session was designed to capture the heart of Annie’s business—her passion, her process, and the story behind her work. From behind-the-scenes shots of her in action to beautifully styled branding images that aligned with her new color palette, this shoot gave her a library of on-brand images to use across her website and social media.
Branding photography is such a powerful tool for consistency, and having high-quality images that match your brand identity creates a strong and professional presence online. For Annie, these images not only elevated her website but also gave her content that she can use across all platforms to ensure a cohesive and visually stunning brand experience.

The Final Outcome
The finished project resulted in a brand and website that truly reflect Annie’s vision—an inviting, timeless, and professional identity that complements her photography style. From the soft, earthy tones of her branding to the streamlined functionality of her website and the branding shoot that tied everything together, every detail was designed to enhance her brand and attract her ideal clients.
